New Blood Test Shows Promise in Cancer Fight

In the usual cancer biopsy, a surgeon cuts out a piece of the patient’s tumor, but researchers in labs across the country are now testing a potentially transformative innovation. They call it the liquid biopsy, and it is a blood test that has only recently become feasible with the latest exquisitely sensitive techniques. It is showing promise in finding tiny snippets of cancer DNA in a patient’s blood.
The hope is that a simple blood draw — far less onerous for patients than a traditional biopsy or a CT scan — will enable oncologists to quickly figure out whether a treatment is working and, if it is, to continue monitoring the treatment in case the cancer develops resistance. Failing treatments could be abandoned quickly, sparing patients grueling side effects and allowing doctors to try alternatives. Continue reading

I’d like to take a moment to tell you a story about a fellow cancer patient named Rachel. We met while receiving our chemotherapy at Tripler Army Hospital in Hawaii. Our encounter was brief but it was one of the most unforgettable moments of my life. Sitting there chatting about our situations and our cancer prognosis I came to learn that God constantly reminds me how blessed I am even in the midst of what I believe to be a curse.
Just moments before I sat down in a chair beside Rachel, I had been in my doctor’s office receiving what I believed to be fairly dreadful news. All along the hope had been that my chemo would shrink my tumor thus allowing me to have a lumpectomy rather than a mastectomy. The previous appointments had given both myself and my doctor hope that it was working as the tumor appeared to have gotten considerably smaller. Continue reading

A teenager who was forced by the courts to undergo chemotherapy for her cancer says a new mass has been found in her lungs.
Cassandra Callender, of Windsor Locks, disclosed the news Saturday on her Facebook page, posting an image of a CT scan dated Friday.
‘This is the mass that is now inside of my lung,’ she wrote.
‘I’ve known about this for a while, but it’s been hard going public with it. But this is why I fought so hard against chemotherapy. Continue reading
UCLA Pediatrician Resigns Because ‘American Association of Pediatrics Knows Vaccines Cause Autism’

Dr. Kenneth P Stoller, MD was trained as a pediatrician at UCLA and was a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics for two decades. In 2008 he resigned from the AAP after realizing that the AAP has known that mercury in vaccines can cause Autism and other neurological damage, yet the organization has refused to make a determined effort to have mercury (in thimerosal) removed from all vaccines. And in fact, has instead engaged in a cover-up to protect the interests of the vaccine makers and pharmaceutical empires. Please share far and wide – the public needs to hear this! FDA Document Admits Vaccines are Linked to Autism

NASA Confesses to Dosing Americans with Air-borne Lithium & Other Chemicals
There’s the official explanation for why NASA is spraying lithium, a pharmaceutical drug most often used to treat people with manic depression or bi-polar disorder, into our ionosphere, and then there is the probable reason(s).
