A few months back you couldn’t watch the news without hearing about the Swine Flu. Health agencies began issuing all sorts of warnings, and even my own place of employment hung flyers up advising us how to avoid contracting this strain of influenza.

We first began hearing about the Swine Flu in the April/May 2009 time period when it was reported that 168 people in Mexico had died from this strain of the flu. That number was later revised to 16, after it was found the others had died from other causes.

Normally it takes between a year to a year and a half to develop a vaccine after a specific virus has been identified. Yet in May of 2009 the “seed culture” for the Swine Flu was given to pharmaceutical companies, and now Baxter International Inc. states that they will have a vaccine for the Swine Flu ready by the time the fall flu season breaks out.

Am I the only one who finds that bit of news a bit fishy? I mean 3-4 months to develop a vaccine instead of the usual 12-14 months? Could it be that they knew long beforehand that this flu was coming, that it was genetically engineered, and that they had plenty of time to develop a vaccine for it? Something to think about if you are of a curious mind.

Are you aware of the fact that in the case there is, in fact, an outbreak of Swine Flu, that the United States has stated that all health and security authority shall be under the control of the World Health Organization?

Are you also aware that shortly after his inauguration, Barack Obama said that everyone should get their flu shots this fall? He is on record as saying that it should be mandatory for all people to be vaccinated.

The Department of Homeland Security, along with the Department of Health and Human Services that they will do so, after first offering the vaccinations to those who want it. By the way, why is Homeland Security getting involved in the administering of flu shots?

Before you decide to get your flu shot, there are a few things you should know. First, an informal test of the Avian Flu shot on 200 people in Poland resulted in 31 deaths, around 15% of those given the injection.

Also, most disease causing organisms enter your body vial the nose or mouth, not by way of injection. The mucous membranes in your nose and mouth have their own immune system, the IgA immune system. It is an entirely different immune system than the one that kicks in when you are injected with a vaccine.

When you are vaccinated your IgA immune system is bypassed, and your body’s immune system goes into overdrive in response to the introduction of the vaccine. That is how it builds up your immunity to the virus.

Flu vaccines often also contain numerous chemical toxins, such as ethylene glycol (antifreeze), formaldehyde, and carbolic acid.

Vaccines are frequently combined with adjuvants, a drug or other agent added to enhance the effectiveness of the vaccine. One of these adjuvants is squalene, something found naturally in your body.

So, when you are injected with a vaccine containing squalene your body’s immune system attacks not only the squalene contained in the vaccine, but all the squalene found naturally in your body.

Those reasons alone are enough to make me think twice before I let anyone stick a needle in me.

When I was in the Air Force it was a mandatory requirement that we get an annual flu shot. Every time I got the shot, I got sick. Every time I managed to be on leave or away when they were given, I was flu free for that year. So I have a reason to dislike any vaccine for the flu.

Yet our government is preparing us all mentally to accept this vaccine when it becomes available. USA Today reported that “Swine flu may have faded from the headlines but it’s still sickening people here and abroad and is certain to worsen when influenza-friendly fall temperatures arrive. The federal government called together health and education officials from every state to check their preparations for the likely prospect of vaccinations and determine how they’ll handle flu-riddled schools.”

Howard Markel is director of the Center for the History of Medicine at the University of Michigan. He is also a historical consultant to the Centers of Disease Control in regards to flu pandemics.

Markel is quoted as saying , “Even so, he says, citizens still need to trust that the government is working for the greater good,” He adds, “The American public has to be forgiving and patient and do [their] part too…”

On July 13, the World Health Organization issued a Global Alert which read, “WHO recommendations on pandemic (H1N1) 2009 vaccinations.” This alert stated that on July 7th the pharmaceutical industry dominated Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization held a meeting to, “discuss issues and make recommendations related to vaccine for the pandemic (H1N1) 2009.”

How can they be so sure that there will be such a pandemic? Nicola Roxon, Federal Health Minister in Australia has stated that if people come down with the H1N1 virus that, “Most people, including children, will experience very mild symptoms and recover without any medical intervention.”

Congressman Ron Paul recently stated in an article that this supposed outbreak of H1N1 “…may result in the government requiring mandatory flu vaccinations.” Paul states that there is no discernable reason for mandatory vaccinations other than “to enrich the pharmaceutical companies that make the vaccine.”

So, you say you won’t take the shot. In Arkansas, the editor of the blog, “Pissed Off Former Democrat” sought advice about obtaining a waiver to get out any mandatory vaccination program.

The following is a part of the phone conversation between the blogger and the legal council at the Arkansas State Health Department. The legal council begins by saying, “That’s constitutional, there’s no doubt about it….mandatory vaccinations are legal under the Supreme Court….absolutely.”

To which the caller asks, “As a lawyer you believe that I don’t have the right to deny a vaccination?” The response from the Health Dept was, “Absolutely….I don’t know why you have a problem with that… mandatory vaccines are constitutional.”

Let’s take a look and see whether there is any truth to that. First I will begin with the United States Code.

U.S.C. Section 264, states, “(b) Apprehension, detention, or conditional release of individuals. Regulations prescribed under this section shall not provide for the apprehension, detention, or conditional release of individuals except for the purpose of preventing the introduction, transmission, or spread of such communicable diseases as may be specified from time to time in Executive orders of the President upon the recommendation of the Secretary, in consultation with the Surgeon General.”

While it does not specifically say that mandatory vaccinations are legal, it does say you may be apprehended, and/or detained if you are believed to be infected with the virus.

California State law goes even further. From Section 120140 of Division 105 we find the subcategory Health & Safety, which states, “Upon being informed by a health officer of any contagious, infectious, or communicable disease the department may take measures as are necessary to ascertain the nature of the disease and prevent its spread. To that end, the department may, if it considers it proper, take possession or control of the body of any living person, or the corpse of any deceased person.”

They can do what? Take possession of my body? I don’t think so! With all that I have provided you to think about concerning any vaccine for the H1N1 virus, I would be highly skeptical of any benefits of such a proposed vaccine. In fact I would be highly opposed to any vaccination, either voluntary or mandatory.

In fact, if they come to my home looking to stick a needle in my arm, I will have something waiting for them, a lead injection traveling at roughly 1100 feet per second. So go ahead, come try and stick me with that needle, I will be waiting at the front door.
