Barnes: My Cancer Is As Strange As My Fiction

I was diagnosed with a cancer with a death rate of 99%. I also just published a novel. And the two have become eerily similar.

cancer_barnesSix months ago I was discovered to have the tumor Glioblastoma Multiforme living inside my skull. At the same time my new novel Nod was approaching publication in North America. As both the disease and my novel progressed I began to notice eerie similarities between the two, even down to the physical similarity between the eye on the book’s cover and an image of the tumor itself, with its vein-like tendrils spreading out across my brain. Scam of Cancer Industry Blown Wide Open

$100 billion a year spent on toxic chemotherapy for many FAKE diagnoses… National Cancer Institute’s shocking admission affects millions of patients

no_chemoWith $100 billion a year now being spent on toxic chemotherapy treatments that damage patients and cause “chemo brain” side effects, a panel of cancer experts commissioned by the National Cancer Institute publicly admitted two years ago that tens of millions of “cancer cases” aren’t cancer at all.

Tens of millions of people who have been diagnosed with “cancer” by crooked oncologists — and scared into medically unjustified but extremely profitable chemotherapy treatments — never had any sort of life-threatening condition to begin with, scientists have confirmed. Continue reading

The Health Benefits of Cinnamon

Smart Spice: Cinnamon

Smart Spice: Cinnamon

We mostly see them as flavorants, as the little jars of powder that line our cabinets and the bags of dried roots, barks, and leaves tucked away in drawers, designed to subtly or drastically alter the flavor profile of our “smart fuel” creations in the kitchen, but for most of human history, spices were also prized for their medicinal qualities. Turmeric for GI disorders and inflammation. Chili peppers for pain management. Ginger for diarrhea. These aren’t just exaggerated cases of “folk medicine” or “old wives’ tales,” either. Current research has confirmed that many common spices do indeed have medicinal properties. One of the most beneficial is also the most common: cinnamon.

It’s important to realize that there are multiple varieties of cinnamon. Continue reading

In 2006, the National Cancer Institute took the rare step of issuing a “clinical announcement,” a special alert it holds in reserve for advances so important that they should change medical practice.

In this case, the subject was ovarian cancer. A major study had just proved that pumping chemotherapy directly into the abdomen, along with the usual intravenous method, could add 16 months or more to women’s lives. Cancer experts agreed that medical practice should change — immediately. Continue reading

5 Warning Signs of Magnesium Deficiency

MagnesiumMany Americans do not understand the importance of magnesium in the same way they understand calcium or iron, for instance. Nonetheless, adequate magnesium levels are crucial for brain, cardiac and muscle function and it is needed, along with silica and Vitamins D and K to promote bone health. Magnesium deficiency is more common than many people suspect, and below are 5 warning signs that could indicate a deficiency in this important mineral. Continue reading

Foods We Won’t Have If We Keep Letting Bees Die

Honey-Bee-On-Flower-PollenAbout one-third of the world’s crops depend on the honeybees for pollination. The past decades honeybees have been dying at an alarming rate. Fewer bees will eventually lead to less availability of our favorite whole foods and it will also drive up the prices of many of the fruits and veggies we eat on a daily basis.

While some actions have been taken in the past, our bees are still dying and something needs to be done to make sure our most favorite foods don’t go into extinction. Continue reading

Roundup CAUSES Cancer

Monsanto hid evidence for 40 years while lying to and defrauding Americans, FOIA documents show

RoundupThe downfall of the Monsanto chemical empire could go down in history as having had its official launch in 2015, the year that its flagship herbicide Roundup was found by the World Health Organization (WHO) to be a probable cause of cancer in humans. 2015 is also the year that it was revealed that Monsanto has been hiding the dirty details of this deadly chemical formula from regulatory authorities for nearly four decades. What Most Doctors Will Not Tell You About Cholesterol

During my university years, I used to frustrate my parents by throwing away egg yolks and eating only the whites. No worries, I thought, as my parents just didn’t know enough to realize that I was reducing my risk of heart disease by avoiding cholesterol. Looking back, I’m sure that my parents were wondering how I could so easily toss away precious egg yolks that they were able afford only a few times a year when they lived in Korea.

cholesterolToday, I am grateful to have a better understanding of the relationship between cholesterol and health. How about you? Are you afraid of having high cholesterol? Are you throwing away egg yolks because you think they’re bad for your health? Are you taking cholesterol-lowering medication or considering starting on one? Continue reading

Pharma-sponsored media uses flawed study to attack supplement industry

mineral-supplements-diabetesA gang of 14 state attorneys general, led by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller, has threatened to file a class action lawsuit against the dietary supplement industry for supposedly selling herbal products that don’t contain the listed ingredients.

According to Reuters, an investigation led by New York’s Schneiderman turned up results suggesting that dietary supplements sold by four major U.S. retailers, GNC Holdings Inc, Target Corp, Walgreens and Walmart Stores Inc, failed to meet efficacy standards, because they allegedly do not contain some or all of the plant materials listed on their labels. Proof Conventional Medicine is a “Killing Machine”

Death-by-MedicineAlthough Americans have been repeatedly told that heart disease and cancer are the two leading causes of death in the US, in fact conventional medicine is the leading cause of death today!

Carolyn Dean MD, ND, and Trueman Tuck, a Legal and Political Rights advocate, authored the no-holds-barred book in 2005: Death by Modern Medicine, which deconstructs modern medicine with the precision of a skilled surgeon removing a deadly cancerous tumor. The book clearly shows via the “Allopathic Investment Industry’s” own data that modern medicine is a scourge on humanity, a black plague, a hidden pandemic. The truth is it’s a monopoly that operates like a mafia and thrives on sickness while discouraging wellness – especially disease prevention. Continue reading

The Human Cost of a Misleading Drug-Safety Study

shadowsA reexamination of old data for Paxil found that the antidepressant is more dangerous than the authors let on. How much harm has been done in the 14 years since it was published?

Sara Bostock once sent me a picture of her and her daughter Cecily in happier times, and it’s a happy shot indeed: Mother and daughter, 40-something and 20-something, outdoors in the sun, looking radiant. With their beaming smiles—the same smile, really, for they look so alike—they appear thrilled to be mother and daughter.

One night in 2002, a couple years after that photo was taken, Sara woke in the night thinking she’d heard a bump in her kitchen. When she went to investigate, she found her 25-year-old daughter on the kitchen floor in a pool of blood. Next to Cecily on the floor was a large and bloody chef’s knife. In her chest were two knife wounds. One was shallow; the other was fatally deep.

Sara Bostock has always thought that her daughter was killed that night by an antidepressant called Paxil. Continue reading
