Prostate problems affect approximately two out of every three men, mostly after 60 years old. The prostate gland has the urethra running through it, so when it enlarges, the swelling will affect the urine stream. The symptoms of an enlarged prostate are frequent urination, weak urination, leftover urine in the bladder, needing to pee at night, and trouble starting to urinate. An enlarged prostate is called ‘benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH). When the prostate in men starts to enlarge, it is usually benign. However cancer cells can begin to grow, and it causes the prostate-specific antigen (PSA) to increase.
The prostate-specific antigen test (PSA) measures the level of the antigen in a man’s blood. It is a protein produced by the cells of the prostate. The specific antigen circulates normally throughout the entire body at low levels all of the time.
There is no specific level of PSA that is considered normal for all men. Most physicians consider that a PSA level under 4.0 or lower to be normal according to the National Cancer Institute. There is a quick test given by physicians to check the prostate. It is a digital rectal exam with a gloved finger that tells if the prostate is swollen. If they feel it is enlarged, they may order a PSA test. Certain drugs may cause the PSA test to be lower than it actually is. If your PSA is elevated, the physician may order additional tests to learn the cause. Other causes can be urinary tract infection, inflamed prostate, or benign prostate hyperplasia. If the physician suspects cancer, he may order a prostate anal biopsy.
The Telsa 3 MRI machine for testing the prostate: (Telsa has no reference to Elon Musk). There are different types of MRI machines that clinics and hospitals use all over the world. Two of the most common options are 1 (Telsa) T MRI, which has a weaker magnet, and 3 T MRI, which has a stronger magnet. The stronger magnet impact the quality of the image, which is needed to scan the prostate gland. A 3 T MRI can detect and diagnose prostate cancer, and it has enough sensitivity that it can replace an uncomfortable anal biopsy. A drawback is that it can make some patients feel hot during exposure. Having gas in the abdominal area can also be a concern. Many clinics and hospitals are now using the T 3 MRI to replace the anal biopsy.
Axumin PET scan for detecting prostate cancer reoccurrences: An Axumin positron emission tomography (PET) machine can be done in men with suspected prostate cancer reoccurrence. It is based on elevated PSA levels following prior proton beam radiation or other electromagnetic therapy. It is a breakthrough for prostate cancer as it works by detecting the metabolic activity of cancer itself. The PET machine is used with a (fluciclovine F 18 injection) fluid used in the positron emission tomography machine.
Alcohol and Prostate Cancer: As a diuretic, alcohol further exacerbates urinary frequency, causing a person to go more often. Alcohol also changes the antidiuretic hormone (vasopressin) and hormone signals which trigger the brain that you are ready to go. Alcohol, besides depleting many minerals in the body, can also cause extra constriction of the prostate gland. This also triggers a ready-to-go response.
When alcohol breaks down, it forms a product such as acetaldehyde. Acetaldehyde is a known carcinogen. Heavy consumption of alcohol is associated with a risk of developing prostate cancer. You may have read where parasites can also produce acetaldehyde, which has the same effect.
Coffee also can be a risk of increasing the BPH, while green tea is shown to have benefits that protect against BPH, due to its antiinflammation properties. Green tea, with a blend with black tea, has been shown to increase the flow rate of urine plus improve a person’s sexual function and quality of life.
High protein diets from animal protein can also increase your risk of BPH. Plant protein, on the other hand, will decrease your risk. For systematic relief, beta-sitosterol has shown to be a very good formula for reducing BPH. It will be discussed later, as Larry King praises beta-sitosterol.
Use of Apalutamide (Erleada) and Enzalutamide (Xtandi) for reducing metastasis of prostate cancer: These are prescription medicines used by oncologists in treating metastatic and nonmetastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. There are so many serious side effects that I don’t think many men would use this treatment when other great cancer-curing treatments are available.
Prostate Metabolic Therapy: There are many approved metabolic treatment options available. One prescription medicine is Orgovyx, an androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) medicine that is not an injection. It is supposed to lower testosterone and PSA levels in men with advanced prostate cancer. Lowering testosterone is one of the main ways physicians use it to treat prostate cancer. Orgovyx turns off the testosterone that in trials showed a 92 percent lowering of PSA after three months. There are some side effects that need to be monitored while using Orgovyx. One is the electrolyte (electrical) activity of the heart. It could cause dizziness, hot flashes, heart-pounding, increased blood sugar levels, muscle and joint pain, tiredness, and a few other things. I would suggest that if you take it, be sure to keep closely monitored and keep close contact with your physician.
Use of Prostate Pills and Compounds: A great company that does lab tests for prostate cancer pills and compounds is COVANCE. It is a subdivision of Lab Corp. If you have a PSA over 4.0 or other signs of prostate cancer, it may be wise to look them up on your computer. They are the top testing company in the world, and they know what all the prostate medications contain. They have reviews on over 170 prostate pills and compounds.
Larry King came out of retirement to devote an entire show to prostate supplements, and one in particular. It is called ProstaGenix. He interviewed seven presidents and several heads of state, These were his words after reviewing many compounds and using many of them ”I hope millions of men can benefit from my experience and relay my information when you look at prostate supplements.” When you look at the proprietary blend of ProstaGenix, you will see why it is the choice of most professionals. It does not take the place of prostate cancer treatment but helps the prostate in many ways.
Some of the other good quality compounds are; Vasotroxx, Pros-T, Pro-Tero, Superprostate 3X, Superprostate formula, Prostavar Ultra, Super Beta Prostate, Protarex, Urinozinc Prostate, and Prostaval.
Recently, a lot of publicity has been made about a new prostate compound called Prostabel. It is advertised as being toxic to cancer cells. An added benefit is that it lowers a man’s blood pressure. Prostabel ingredients are; 35 percent powdered Pao Pereira, 30 percent powdered extract from Rauwolfia, plus minor ingredients including magnesium stearate and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. It works on a cellular level, boosts immunity, lowers blood pressure and PSA. A survey conducted by Columbia University Hospital reinforced the effectiveness with no side effects. There is one drawback, however. the price is $145.00 per bottle, and the dosage is 10 tablets per day. With a drawback like that, maybe larry King’s advice may be much better.
Don’t forget about the great advantages of using prostate pills and compounds. When any man over 50 detects a weak, intermittent stream, or another prostate symptom, it seems very prudent to get extra supplement help. These new pills and compounds do just that. They not only help the prostate, but most have great supplements and minerals that help the health of the body also.
Eggs and Prostate Cancer: According to a study published in Cancer Prevention Research, overconsumption of eggs could increase your chances of being diagnosed with prostate cancer. Men who consumed over 2.5 eggs per week had an 89 percent increased risk of developing advanced prostate cancer compared to men who ate less than one egg each week. However, there are some problems with this study. Of the 27, 607 men tested, only 199 of them developed advanced prostate cancer. Also, the diets of these men were not closely monitored. Other factors may also be involved in this study. Since high meat consumption is known to increase the risk of prostate cancer It could very well be the fly in the ointment.
Treatment for Prostate Cancer: The VIPP electrohydraulic therapy machine: It works by changing the resonance and electrical cancer cell polarity, which changes disease cells back to their normal electrical frequency. It is now in over 14 foreign countries and clinicians have very high reviews on its success. Also, many cancer clinics in Mexico, Spain, and Europe such as the Budwig cancer clinic in Spain use it. In foreign countries and hopefully soon in the United States when this VIPP machine will get FDA approval, it overrides almost all other modes of disease therapy. It not only reduces swollen prostates but cures them as well. It also cures or reduces scores of other diseases including kidney stone removal, bone fractures, osteonecrosis, toenail fungus, gout, lower back pain, breast cancer, scar removal, tunnel elbow, diabetic ulcers, and much other pain and disease problems. It also is non-invasive and can be used with all other forms of cancer treatments. VIPP clinics are available in Mexico and some southern U.S. towns.
Proton beam radiation therapy: In the United States, oncologists normally use just four treatment methods, Chemotherapy, chemo drugs, radiation, and surgery. They do not recommend proton beam therapy, because it is not controlled by the FDA. Proton beam therapy seems to be a good choice for curing prostate cancer. Having experienced prostate surgery, I would not recommend prostate surgery for curing prostate cancer. The experience of incontinence and loss of libido is enough to detour both chemotherapy, chemo drugs, rice grain radiation, and other oncologist’s radiation therapy.
Proton beam therapy is precise and does not destroy much tissue or create incontinence or loss of libido. The vast majority of men who have cured cancer with proton therapy are very satisfied with the results. So until some of these new noninvasive cancer cure machines are available in the U.S., proton therapy in many cities is much safer than what the oncologists have to offer. A newer method of proton beam therapy employs a very narrow pencil beam from different angles that put the proton dosage on the target but leaves the surrounding tissues with very little secondary dosage.
Conclusion: Prostate cancer reaches out to about two out of every three men. From the research available, it is wise for men, when their urethra slows, or the PSA rises to over 4.0, to begin taking precautions using the best prostate pills and compounds. If the PSA rises further, it would be wise to check with your physician. With the treatment choices for prostate cancer getting much better, most men are able to find much better ways of treatment than before. With a PSA over 4.0, do not hesitate about seeing a physician. Also, explore the many ways to test and treat prostate cancer, plus explore the newer ways of treatment. Continuing to take prostate pills and compounds will still be non-invasive and will be an asset, even with prostate treatment being done, unless your prostate doctor says otherwise. There are also many great cancer clinics available throughout the world and they are having some great results with prostate and all other types of cancer.
