Fukushima Radiation: Days of Eating Pacific Ocean Fish Are Over, Or Worse

Radiation has been leaking out of the Fukushima power plant every day since the meltdown.

TEPCO, the Japanese electricity company in charge of monitoring the plant, has admitted that radioactive material has been leaking into the Pacific Ocean from the defunct power plant for the past (nearly seven)  years and that the problem is far from over.

Anywhere between 300 to 450 tons of contaminated water have been released into the Pacific Ocean from the Fukushima Daichi site on a daily basis. It is believed that the water contains traces of radioactive iodine, cesium, and strontium-89 and 90.

Despite the best efforts of the Japanese government and the scientific community in the country, fish in the region have most certainly been affected by the output of radiation into the ocean from the power plant.

Many of the fish caught in the region have tested positive for huge amounts of radiation resulting in the closure of many fisheries in the region close to the power plant. Studies have also shown that worryingly high levels of radiation have been found in fish caught on the northwest coast of the United States and in Canada which has been identified as emanating from the power plant.

Senior environmental scientists who have examined the contaminated fish claimed that the levels of radiation are not so high as to prove to be poisonous to humans who consume them at this present time. However, they admitted that the situation would have to be closely monitored to ensure that the radiation level does not go too high.

However, the claims have been contradicted by other scientists who claim that there is no such thing as a safe level of radiation in food products and that the radioactive contamination may well lead to health problems developing in the future.

~ COMMENT ~

Imagine this. Chernobyl, was so bad, that the Russians put 600,000-650,000 men on the project to seal up that reactor. The even “hand dug” a tunnel under the sub floor, to put in MORE concrete to be sure it didn’t “china syndrome”. Over 500 men flew helicopters over the reactor to dump lead, then later boron, to slow the release. Those men died within a few months. That was 1986. And now last year, they finished the second sarcophagus to go over it. Some area’s you still can’t go into. Yet Japan, has done nothing but build some walls around 1, 2, and 4. Still to this day, 3 that did “china syndrome” is open to the air. Some say that 1 and 2 are also china syndrome. Those walls around them, were covered by “TARPS”. and now the tarp from reactor 1 is gone. Been gone for almost 2 years. So it’s still steaming into the atmosphere. Reactor 4 cooling pond has caught fire twice. Spewing radioactive waste into the jet stream. Chernobyl lasted a few month until they had it covered. Japans has been going on YEARS with NO cover. Not only that, there has been at LEAST 600 tons of water washing through the plant the WHOLE time. Right into the ocean. This underground river gained access to the plant, due to a lack of planning and the melt downs, that when china syndrome, melting through that concrete barrier. That’s what the “ice wall” was supposed to prevent, but it failed to work. Now they are dumping over 243,000,000 gallons of HIGHLY contaminated water stored on site since it began, into the ocean. At one point watching the live feeds, I saw the man made bay there, the break waters, boiling. Imagine seeing that at the plant, in the ocean, steam rising from there and how hot it would have to be to do that.

I’m not a religious person, but Revelations says, 1/3 of the water will be poisoned. And the pacific is about 1/3 of all the water on the planet. So go figure.

Japan is hurting the world with this event, and I remember a few weeks after the tsunami there was cesium in the milk here in California. It was falling from the jet stream. And remember, Chernobyl fallout lasted 4 years, around the northern hemisphere, and that was just from 3-4 months open to the air with only ONE reactor melted down. Japan has 3. All open to the air. Then the fires in reactor 4 cooling ponds???? Just take in all that info and tell me what you think. ~ Dave Kelly
