Wouldn’t it be incredible if there was a proven, safe, inexpensive, painless, non-surgical medical procedure to eliminate the conditions that trigger heart attacks, strokes, senility, and death? Well, hold on to your seat because it is here! Some of us have known about it for years but now a lengthy study by establishment physicians proves the safety of Chelation Therapy for heart and diabetic patients! It is a surprising, stunning, substantial, and shocking study that supports Chelation Therapy!
The incredible results: Chelation Therapy was safe with no serious side effects for up to five years and beyond. The data supported the fact that cardiac events included fewer deaths, fewer heart attacks and fewer strokes. And fewer hospitalizations for any heart problem!
The stunning results are compelling and consistent—and maybe unwanted because of the flack they are getting. The results were not unexpected to the physicians who have practiced Chelation Therapy for more than fifty years or by patients of chelation. Some of the “Big Pharma” authors of the study said their findings were “unexpected and additional research will be needed to confirm or refute our results and explore possible mechanisms of therapy.”
Dr. Gervasio Lamas, a specialist at the Columbia University Division of Cardiology at Mount Sinai in Miami Beach, headed a study that revealed that Chelation Therapy along with high-dose oral vitamin C reduced heart attack, stroke, and death! Chelation has long been approved to remove toxic metals such as iron, lead, cadmium, copper, etc., from the arteries. However, medical personnel discovered in the early 1950s that the treatment also cleaned sludge out of the arteries. That was a positive “unintended consequence.”
Lamas was a skeptic but has become an enthusiastic supporter of further studies in Chelation Therapy. His results, funded by the National Institutes of Health, were published in the July 2014 issue of the American Heart Journal. The study is known as TACT, (Trial to Assess Chelation Therapy). The results were also published online by the New England Journal of Medicine.
This recent study should change the way the world medical facilities treat heart patients and diabetics
Dr. Lamas’ ten-year study ending in 2011, involved 1,708 patients at 134 clinics carried out by colleagues from Johns Hopkins and the Mayo Clinic. The study was a double-blind “randomized placebo-controlled clinical trial” (RPCCT) which is the best, most respected medical methodology possible. All participants were over age 50, had experienced at least one heart attack, were 82 percent male, 94 percent Caucasian and about half were obese.
This recent study should change the way the world medical facilities treat heart patients and diabetics; although the change will be sluggish (like clogged veins) because physicians have historically been among the slowest professionals to change their minds and methods. That is especially true if the new information reduces medical fees and gives pharmaceutical officials heartburn.
The prudent thing would be to take care of yourself so you won’t be vulnerable for heart attacks, strokes, etc. Medical “wisdom” today says the answer to those problems is surgery; however,
the Journal of the American Medical Association reported that “As many as 90% of all heart bypass surgeries are not necessary…that patients who receive them do not live longer than patients who don’t. And that bypass and angioplasties directly kill nearly 20,000 heart patients every year.” Better read that again!
Moreover, Harvard Magazine (Sept.—Oct. 2014) reported for patients with stable coronary disease, who comprise a large share of angioplasty patients, “It [angioplasty] has not been shown to extend life expectancy by a day.” That was “by a day.” Cardiologist, Dr. Michael Ozner, author of The Great American Heart Hoax wrote: “70-90% of these procedures are unnecessary…and have never been shown to prolong life or prevent heart attacks.”
If you talk to surgeons, they will recommend angioplasty or by-pass surgery (neither of which have been proved to be effective). Likewise, if you talk to a brick mason about a new house, you will get a brick house. Surprised? Well, what do you expect surgeons to do? They have been trained to use the knife.
What you expect and should demand is truth even if his knife gets rusty from disuse. William Douglas, M.D., admitted, “Under the best conditions there is a 1 to 4 percent possibility of heart attack while on the operating table [for by-pass surgery]; under the worst, there is a 10 to 17 percent death rate.”
Dr. Douglas went on to say there is a 20 to 30 percent chance that the new graft will suffer further blockage within two years! Why would anyone go through all that when there is a safe, inexpensive and painless alternative?
Chelation Therapy has helped reverse symptoms of diabetes, Alzheimer’s, arthritis, and numerous other diseases. Why haven’t you heard of it? Real simple. Not much money in it (compared to surgery) and many in the medical establishment are not interested although chelation has been around for a hundred years.
Chelation is an intravenous injection of a synthetic amino acid called simply, EDTA which goes after the clogged arteries with gusto and removes the clogged mess in 75,000 miles of blood vessels in the body. When the oxygen-rich blood finally hits the vital organs, the patient feels younger and feels like “a new person” as one man told me.
Chelation is not new nor is it untested. It originated in 1893 with Alfred Werner who received the Nobel Prize in 1913 for his work. Mainstream medicine men either know nothing about chelation or they are adamantly opposed although about 1,000 American physicians now do Chelation Therapy on 100,000 patients each year. This therapy is normally done with patients who have diseases caused by hardening of the arteries.
Give them time. Most physicians are very slow to accept anything that appears to be innovative, successful and inexpensive, but more and more physicians are taking chelation treatments when they have major heart problems!
More than 500,000 patients have received over four million chelation treatments over the past 30 years in America and not one death has been a direct result when properly administered by trained physicians. The physicians competently trained in chelation therapy will most likely be members of either ICIM—the International College for Integrative Medicine or, ACAM—the American College for the Advancement in Medicine.
In fact, the American College for Advancement in Medicine reveals, “Every single study of the use of chelation therapy for atherosclerosis which has ever been published, without exception, has described an improvement in blood flow and symptoms.”
Not one death! How many people die each year from aspirin and other approved drugs? Chelation Therapy consists of 30 to 40 IV treatments in a physician’s office at a cost of about $4,000.00 for the total treatments. (Costs will vary across the nation.) I have interviewed patients who were facing amputation of both legs but after chelation treatments, they are walking four miles per day, cutting firewood, etc. Some patients tell of cold feet, blackened from lack of circulation, turning warm and with blackness going away after a few treatments!
Some patients experience side effects such as vein irritation, headache, mild pain or fatigue, and occasionally a mild fever; but these side effects are easily controlled by adjusting the treatments.
Maybe, just maybe, this study by a large group of reputable physicians may drag Chelation Therapy out of the shadows and into the sunshine of medical respectability. It’s about time. It will save lives.
